Sadler Vaden Joins DNC
Posted on: 27 October 2011
Please join us in welcoming Sadler Vaden to the Drivin N Cryin line-up! Voted Charleston, SC’s Best Guitarist 2011, the former Leslie frontman is one part guitarist-extraordinaire, one part talented songwriter, one part soulful singer and two parts kick-ass! Stay tuned for news about new DNC recordings with Sadler to be released soon!

I first saw him with DnC at the Grey Eagle a month back. I was wondering why you guys came out as a three piece at first, but quickly brought Sadler out. I was a little discouraged to see Mac not there…but found out that Sadler can rip it hard. I cannot wait to see you guys again, and can’t wait to hear new material. You guys are the top best bands out there today, and you deserve 100 times more credit then you get. Keep rockin guys!
Kevin Kinney is the Bob Dylan of my generation. His place in rock n roll will never be appreciated by the brain dead Cold Play plastics and corporate controlled music industry. Kevin makes and writes music to enlighten a society that is polarized with political stupidity. Take the time to listen to Kevin’s music and lyrics to fully appreciate how bad mainstream music is brainwashing the apathetic masses. Congraulations to Kevin and DNC for making a difference in world that needs a clear message of truth.
Honored to see one of Sadler’s first gigs with DnC back in Manhattan at the old CBGBs place in October. He freckin wails man, geeze. Fits in like a glove.
I was wondering where Mac was as I did not recognize his set up before the show. Mac Carter contributed BIG TIME to DnC and I see this new lineup going to new heights.
Thanks y’all for keeping it going as we’ll support you always. DnC ROCKS!
(ps-Hey Kevn, teach Sadler the riffs for Trainwreck – we need that song back in the rotation!

Not only did Drivin N Cryin’ get Charleston’s best guitar player out of this deal, they also acquired one of the finest individuals you could ever get to know. Congrats to DNC and their fans as both entities are bound to enjoy the talents and company of this young man.
Cheers and best of luck,
Luke Cunningham
That kid blew up the Tabernacle in the ATL last night. Mac was a good guitar player but Sadler is awesome. I’ve been going to DnC concerts for 20+ years(probably since Sadler was born) and last nights show was one of the best ever and he was the main reason. DnC has always jammed with the best of the rest but with Sadler burning up the chords and choking every ounce of sound out of his guitar(thought the damn thing might catch fire)DnC in my humble opinion has ratcheted it up a notch. Looking forward to new album and definitely ready for the next live show. Peace to all and Merry Christmas!
Seen D N C friday night in chattanooga tn. and i have to say they rocked the house.I have been a fan since the AUTO CLUB days and seen them several times. I have to say this was the best show i have seen. The group was tight and everyone was feeling good. New guitar player blew everyone away. His killer riffs and his back up vocals were great. After the show we shook his hand and told him what an awesome job he done. He was a very humble down to earth guy. They done all the classic tunes and Kevn done some acoustic solo for the MacDougal Blues fans. I got Kevn to sign my ”indian song” 45 cover and my ”mystery road” and ”whisper tames” vinyl cover.I love this band as much as i love there music. Thank you guys for years of great music and a great show. Hope you come back soon ! peace….
